A distinguished origin

Silver Hill Estate

Once one of only four Blue Mountain coffee farms officially designated by the Government of Jamaica, Silver Hill has carried its legacy to even higher ground since 2017. Deep in the Jamaica Blue Mountains, small farms at elevations of 4,500 to 5,300 feet are meticulously managed by seasoned growers. On the cool, mist-covered slopes, coffee cherries ripen slowly, producing dense beans and allowing more time for complex flavours to develop.

Every ripe cherry is hand-picked and carefully selected. After washing and pulping, the coffee is dried beneath the Caribbean sun until the ideal moisture level is achieved. The parchment then rests for at least eight weeks before hulling and machine grading. A final hand selection—one of the most distinctive stages of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee processing—removes any remaining defects, ensuring that only the finest beans enter GrainPro bags and Jamaica’s traditional wooden coffee barrels.

Quality control remains rigorous throughout. Experienced coffee graders make the final decision on export readiness, and each lot must achieve a satisfactory cupping result before it is released with a Certificate of Origin and prepared for shipment worldwide.
